Changing Your Screen Resolution: Windows XP: 1: Go to the Start button in the bottom left of your screen, and left click it with your mouse. 2: A selection box opens with various icons for software and files on your computer. Locate your Control Panel Icon, usually on the right, and double click it. 3: When the Control Panel window opens find an icon called Appearance & Themes, double click it and choose the Changing Screen Resolution link that displays. 4: When the Display Properties window opens look for a horizontal slider on the bottom left, and move the slider to 1024x768 and click the OK button. Older Windows Versions: 1: Go to the Start button in the bottom left of your screen, and left click it with your mouse. 2: A selection box opens with various icons for software and files on your computer. Locate your Control Panel Icon, usually on the right, and double click it. 3: When the Control Panel window opens find an icon called Display double click it. 4: When the Display Properties window opens, look on the top for a tab called settings and click it. Look for a horizontal slider on the bottom left, and move the slider to 1024x768 and click the OK button. |
